Webinar Description: When a child is first diagnosed with autism, or autism is first suspected, the pressure for parents to "get it right" is often overwhelming. Parents can be intimidated by an emphasis on deficits and urgent need for treatment. This webinar focuses on finding joy, connection, and meaning in the experience of autism, while remaining realistic about the challenges of raising a child whose needs are often unaccommodated by the world.

Target Audience: Parents or other caregivers of young autistic children

Presenter: Lucas Harrington, PsyD
