Part of the Goldsen Institute within the UW School of Social work, AgePRIDE (Promoting Resilience for Intergenerational Diversity and Empowerment) is designed to provide innovative and evidence-based programs and services to meet the evolving needs of older adults, families and care partners in diverse at-risk and underserved communities, with a particular focus on LGBTQ+ communities. These programs focus on health promotion, wellness and intergenerational community building and are developed through interdisciplinary collaborations that include both professional and community stakeholders. As our programs and services continue to grow, we invite volunteers over the age of 18 to support the center's operations and programs, and engage with our participants at our site, virtually or in the community.

After we receive your application, we will contact you and arrange for an interview in person or by phone with our volunteer coordinator. All information on this form will be kept confidential and will help us find the perfect volunteer project for you. Please be advised that, since we work with a vulnerable population, we require a criminal background check for some volunteer roles.
