2026 INSIGHT High School Program Application

The 2026 INSIGHT High School Program is an exciting online and interactive four-week program designed to introduce young scholars to public health, biomedical research, & medicine.

For 2026, the University of Washington's INSIGHT High School Program will be conducted in a virtual format. Students will take a deep dive into injury and violence prevention research through various activities. The program is open to high school students and recently graduated students.

Please be prepared to complete the entire application form in one session. Once your application confirmation has been received, payment information will be provided. Your payment in full of $2,200 is required to secure your spot. Limited seats are available for this summer's INSIGHT High School Program, and the application will close on May 18, 2026, or prior to this date if all seats are filled.

Due to the interactive nature of the program, all enrolled students are required to attend all activities during the four-week program. On the last day of the program, August 1, there will be a virtual Symposium for students to present their research projects.
