Purpose of the research
The purpose of this research is to assess the sustained impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on pediatric-focused advanced practice registered nurses. The National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners aims to reassess the holistic impacts of COVID-19 on NAPNAP members, which will be used to further inform strategies to use organizational resources to support member needs.
Study activities
One-time response to the NAPNAP COVID-19 survey, which is estimated to take 10 minutes or less.
Risks and Benefits
The risks associated in this study are minimal and are not greater than risks ordinarily encountered in daily life. The potential benefits of the study include providing data to help NAPNAP tailor educational offerings, professional support, and resources to the NAPNAP membership. This may result in member's increased competency and skill when caring for families impacted by COVID-19 as well as using developed professional resources to navigate challenges presented by pandemic conditions.
Confidentiality
All participant responses will be deidentified and presented only in aggregate.
Authorized staff of Baylor University may review the study records for purposes such as quality control or safety.
