First-Responder Airway and Compression Trial
King County Emergency Medical Services along with the University of Washington have proposed a study that hopes to improve care of adults who have a sudden cardiac arrest. This study will compare different ways of performing rescue breathing and chest compressions by fire fighters/emergency medical technicians when summoned by 9-1-1. The treatments being compared are all standard ways of performing CPR. The study is evaluating which way may be best.
