Please complete the form below to register for the 2023-2024 season of the UW MAP ECHO: Perinatal Substance Use & Mental Health Case Conference Series. This program is for prescribing providers who care for pregnant/postpartum patients in Washington state. Monthly virtual case conference sessions are held the 1st Wednesday of the month from October 2023 through July 2024 at 12PM-1PM Pacific.

Series learning objectives:

  • Describe identification and diagnosis of common mental health and substance use disorders in the perinatal period
  • Formulate treatment plans for  mental health and substance use disorders during pregnancy and postpartum
  • Compare the risks of untreated disorders with the risks of psychotropic medication use and medication assisted therapy (MAT) during pregnancy and lactation
  • Appreciate the role of stigma, racism and social determinants of health in perinatal mental health and substance use treatment engagement
